This was an amazing experience and it certainly lived up to the hype. The amazing history of that Kingdom along with the beautiful surroundings makes it a must see. Cambodia is starting to become a popular destination for expats due to the low cost of living and easy visas. Many people are looking for alternatives outside of Thailand and Cambodia has a lot going for it. Siem Reap has a small expat community and after spending several days exploring this small city I got a good feel for it.

The best site to meet cute girls from Cambodia is Asian Dating. Your next best option for meeting girls is to just walk around an socialize. I met several cute girls who worked at hotels, shops and restaurants.
However, I do find many Khmer girls sweet and attractive. Only move here if you are looking to settle down. Whore mongering also sucks in Siem Reap. The only real options I saw were the massage parlors. There were a few places in the tourist trap with cute young babes trying to pull me inside. If you need a quick release just walk around pub street and you will run into these massage parlors. I spotted several ladyboys in the line up so be careful! Siem Reap is just like any town in Cambodia.
The infrastructure is brutal in some places. You can live cheap, but that same money will get you something better in neighboring countries. That goes for apartments, food, women, etc. It must be cheaper away from the tourist areas because how can these people live off a few dollars a day? Regardless, we are foreigners so expect to pay. One good thing is beer is cheap. Angkor beer is decent on a hot steamy summer night and these beers cost 50 cents a pop.
