Just walked around and took a stop to look at the Cathedral. Worth a look as it id not much to see This is a beautiful church in the center of town. St Florin is a Catholic Church located in the central tourist area in Vaduz. It is only about metres from Liechtenstein Centre and has a beautiful view. Vaduz is a pretty little city. There was a lot of scaffolding so there wasn't a good view from the outside.
A pretty church, nice altar and stained glass windows. I quite enjoyed this visit, once I had found out how to get in. Building works were being undertaken and the entryway was covered in scaffolding. A pretty little church one can hardly call it a cathedral, though if it is the seat of the archbishop technically it is correctly named.
Calm, peaceful, and swell worth a short visit as it close to all the other attractions. The outside had scaffolding in place fro refurbishment of the exterior but the interior was nice. The gentleman who held the keys was nice enough to escort us all the way to the top of the bell tower.
Excellent personal service you don't find in cathedrals in larger countries. I was very disappointed to see that every side of this was covered in scaffolding! It looks like it would have been an amazing sight but unfortunately we were not able to see it.
No access was possible as the entire cathedral was under renovation. It's a lovely building and I regretted not being able to see it. Check online to see when and if it reopens. Profile JOIN.
