The room was incredibly noisy. Road noise in particular. We had prostitutes in the room next to us - and had New Plymouths finest filtering in and out at half hour intervals. Great with small children. The scody asian pros wondering from one room they had hired to another was another plus. When complained about to management they said that they had paid their money and there was nothing that could be done about it. Rooms were tired and service poor. Thank you for taking the time to express your concerns during your stay with us recently.
Please accept my apology if your expectations were not met and we will endeavour to screen our guests in the future. We do not promote or support this type of activity but at the same time we need to respect our guests privacy. I would also like to strongly defend the statement where it was presumed that management were taking a cut. This statement is unfounded and untrue!! We had our family reunion here in October and everyone enjoyed the friendly and relaxing atmosphere and great service.
The food was plentiful and tasty and we were all made to feel welcome, even later in the night when we took group family photos! Many thanks to all the fabulous staff who helped to make our family gathering a happy and memorable occasion. Stayed for 14 nights business. This hotel is showing its age, it is only saved by the friendly staff.
There are renovations ongoing which may improve matters. Poor internet connection in the rooms. The WiFi was so slow it was useless and the network cable connection was better. Judging by the car park this hotel is popular with short stay nights business clients.
My room was adequate, "sea facing" - you could see slivers of sea through the trees. The bed was comfortable.
