This hotel was absolutely disgusting! A hostel would have been better! Staff - All arrogant! I understand there is a language barrier but there is no need for abruptness. Dirty looks and discussing me in Romanian between each other. I had do not disturb on my door and maid still came in. Their attitude is shocking. Never smiles, never greets and god forbid if your card deactivates itself it wasn't kept beside my phone as I know this can result in deactivation. I got spoke to like I was an errant child.
And on my last 4am. I came down for fresh air as I was wide awake to find the receptionist and the door man having sex on the stairway!!! I mean come on!! We asked the hotel if they could call a restaurant for us due to language barrier as the restaurant did not understand us. We were quickly and horrible told no. Hotel room - My bed room light had blew, reported it to reception. Was never fixed. Bed was extremely uncomfortable, pillows were so smelly I slept without them. Water was a green, browny colour with a horrid odour.
Bath or shower.. Extremely slippery and yet dangerous due to tile flooring. Socket inn bathroom did not work. Socket in bedroom only worked if you held the plug, yet could hear sizzling. Reported and yet again nothing got done about it Reported and yet again nothing got done about it.
Hotel - hotel looks nice when you enter, huge reception area. Yet that's only part that was nice. Get to the rooms. All goes down hill. One girl in my group was getting changed in her bathroom when her tiles in the bathroom were lifted from above. She reported to reception and was told it would be dealt with but then stated didn't know anyone who would be in the roof. States there is a nightclub, but it's more like a youth club.. Food - What can I say? We ate out majority of the time.
We were a bunch of 40 students from Sweden, Scotland, Norway and England and we had paid for a 3 course meal for the 9 days we would be there. We didn't ever get a three course bar one day. Staff would shrug their shoulders and say "only one course". When food was served, was cold, sloppy. School dinners at school are better than what we got served. Attitude of staff was ridiculous. I asked for butter 5 times and I'm still waiting lol In all - I would avoid this hotel.
