Hotel was cheap, we had a balcony facing the Black Sea for 50 euros. Free breakfast was okay. The neighborhood is flooded with prostitutes, beggars, street kids, packs of stray dogs The whole area just is not worth it. When you book an Ibis hotel you don't expect a luxury experience, which is reflected in the good price. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the room, the fast WIFI and the friendly Lobby staff.
I booked a junior suite, which is only slightly more expensive than a regular room, but makes for a much better experience. An expenditure I would recommend to everyone. What I liked most about the hotel though is it's location. Just two minutes from the beach, and right on the centre of town, the Ibis Constanta is a perfect base for exploring Constanta.

This Ibis Constanta wasn't the easiest to find off the main road, but it does overlook a decent beach and has an amazing view of the sunrise.
Recommended as a decent budget hotel option. If it's the beach you're after though, you may wish to stay closer to Mamaia instead. Indeed we are proud to have a very good location, being in the center of the city, in the historic part, but next to the Black Sea beach.
