Despite having a large gay community, Stockholm lacks the sex culture of nearby Copenhagen. While Swedes have a cultural love of saunas, the gay saunas were closed in the s during the AIDS crisis, never to reopen. The sex scene heavily favours meeting online, but horny tourists still have a few options to get their rocks off. But clubgoers make up for the lack of hours with the level of action.
